The pressure on costs and quality in beverage bottling is growing, as is the need for flexibility and important packaging. Decision-makers have to balance profitability and responsibility.

This is why the Chair of Brewing and Beverage Technology (BGT), together with VBW Asset Trade Weihenstephan GmbH, organised the 29th Bottle Cellar Seminar in Freising.

On 4 and 5 June, practitioners from the beverage industry came together to discuss current topics and challenges.

The seminar focused on digitalisation, flexible and individual concepts for line planning and sustainability. The EOL Group was also present with a presentation this year: Johannes Gstettner, Head of Sales & Marketing, gave an insight into the challenges of secondary packaging options in crates. He presented the EOL Group's latest machine, the so-called TopClip, a joint project of BMS Maschinenfabrik GmbH and A+F Automation + Fördertechnik GmbH.
